About Moon Lander
Moon Lander is a friendly version of the classic lunar lander arcade game. Wizzy flies a little rocket over a bumpy planet and has to land gently on the glowing pad. Hold the big up button to fire the engine and slow the fall, and the left and right buttons to drift sideways. Fuel runs down as you use it, and gravity always pulls the rocket down.
Every few levels bring something new: space puppies in bubbles to rescue, rocks, wind, caves, fuel cans and landing pads that fly back and forth. Each planet pulls differently, so on the Candy Planet the rocket floats and on Jupiter it drops like a stone. Land too fast and the rocket just bounces with a boing: nothing ever explodes. A light by the rocket turns green when it's slow enough to land.

Levels and difficulty
There are 30 levels on the Moon, Mars, the Ice Planet, the Candy Planet, Jupiter and 15 more places, from the Cheese Moon, a comet and a volcano to a jungle, Neptune, a space station, Pluto, the Dino Planet and Wizzymoon itself. They add puppies to rescue, rocks, wind, caves, fuel cans and moving pads, and the stronger a planet pulls, the more engine it takes to land. Each level gives one star for landing, one for saving every puppy and one for landing with plenty of fuel left. A very hard bump starts the level again.
Tips for parents and teachers
- Short taps on the engine save fuel.
- Watch the light by the rocket: green means slow enough to land.
- Talk about why the rocket falls faster on Jupiter than on the Moon.
Moon Lander questions
Is Moon Lander violent?
No. Nothing explodes: a hard landing just makes the rocket bounce with a boing, and a very hard bump starts the level again.
Can you play with a keyboard?
Yes. Use the up arrow or space for the engine and the left and right arrows to drift.
Is Moon Lander free?
Yes. Moon Lander is completely free, with no ads and no in-app purchases.
Do I need to download Moon Lander?
No. It plays right in the web browser on phones, tablets and computers. You can also add it to your home screen like an app.
