About Wizzy Bricks
Wizzy Bricks is a friendly take on the classic brick breaker. Slide a finger, the mouse or the arrow keys to move the paddle, launch the ball and bounce it into the bricks. Each level is a picture made of bricks, from a rainbow and a heart to a rocket, a cat and a space alien, and clearing every brick moves you on to the next one.
Smashed bricks sometimes drop power-ups: a wide paddle, multi-ball, a fireball that burns through bricks, a slow ball, a magnet, a star shooter, a safety net and extra hearts. Star bricks always drop one, bomb bricks blow up their neighbours, strong bricks need two hits and metal bricks need a fireball. Smashing bricks one after another without touching the paddle builds a combo worth up to five times the points.
How to play Wizzy Bricks
- Choose Easy, Medium or Hard, then tap Play.
- Slide your finger, move the mouse or use the arrow keys to move the paddle.
- Tap or press Space to launch the ball, and bounce it into the bricks.
- Hit the ball with the middle of the paddle to send it straight up, or with an end to send it to the side.
- Catch falling capsules for power-ups, and don't let the ball fall past the paddle.

Levels and difficulty
There are 12 picture levels, and after the last one they start again with a faster ball and more strong bricks. Easy has a slow ball, a big paddle, 5 hearts, lots of power-ups and no unbreakable metal bricks; Medium and Hard have faster balls, smaller paddles and 3 hearts. Each difficulty has its own leaderboard and best score.
Tips for parents and teachers
- Start on Easy: the slow ball and big paddle give younger children time to react.
- Watch where the ball will land, not the paddle, and move early.
- Aim for the gaps: a ball that gets above the bricks smashes lots of them in a row for a big combo.
